Chalet Bella Vista 4 is a recently built luxury 3 bedroom 1st-floor holiday apartment with stunning views from its sunny terrace and balcony. It’s very conveniently located just a 200m walk to the centre of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen.
This apartment sleeps up to 6 people:
Bedroom 1 = 2 single/twin beds
Bedroom 2 = 2 single/twin beds
Bedroom 3 = 1 bunk bed
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 = ensuite with bathtub and separate shower and WC
Bathroom 2 = shower and WC
Apartment location - being just a 200m walk downhill from the train station, 150m to the nearest supermarket and 300m to the cable car and nursery ski slopes, mountain hiking trails and ski areas are just a few steps away! There is even a lift to get you to all floors!

Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required

Note that bedroom 3 contains a bunk bed for up to 2 people.

The flat had beautiful mountain views and was very comfortable for 5 people. The kitchen was fully stocked and the flat was close to the grocery store for cooking. The laundry across the hall was very efficient and convenient.

I would have appreciated more kitchen and dining linens as there were no paper products (which I applaud) but some cloth napkins and more dish towels would have been appreciated.

The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy and had a lovely view. It’s only a short walk to the train, village and COOP which made life very easy. Julie was great all the way through the booking process, and throughout our stay was extremely helpful!see more

We really enjoyed the apartment. It was close to the train and COOP grocery store. The little touches for the apartment were very much appreciated: the stool to sit on to change shoes inside, the DVDs and other entertainment, and the well stocked see more

Never once in our 19 days did we miss the comforts of home. This was our longest stay anywhere but it also felt the shortest.
We made some incredible memories here and witnessed places that we thought only existed in fairy tales.

We made some incredible memories here and witnessed places that we thought only existed in fairy tales. We were in awe of the mountains so massive that they couldn't be captured in a single photograph. The kids played on elaborate playgrounds on the peaks of mountains in the middle of nowhere and everywhere at the same time. We ran through open fields of green with nothing around us except for cows that had large cowbells around their necks that could be heard from miles away. We hiked with views that I only hope my memory will be able to hold onto forever. The Swiss Alps were a sight to behold and the lakes were stunning.
