Schweizerheim Residence 11 is a stylish and spacious open-plan holiday apartment with 2 bedrooms. This ground-floor apartment is set in a quiet location with wonderful views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding mountains including the famous Jungfrau. It is located 650 metres (9 - 11 minutes walk) from the centre of the family-friendly “car-free” mountain village of Wengen.
The apartment sleeps up to 4 people:
Bedroom 1 = 1 double king-size bed (EU size)
Bedroom 2 = 1 double king-size bed (EU size)
All beds are European sizes
Bathroom 1 = en-suite with shower and WC
Bathroom 2 = shower and WC
Apartment location: It is 650 metres (9 - 11 minutes walk) uphill to Wengen train station, and 600 metres to the nearest supermarket.
With its modern open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, this apartment's interior is bright and spacious. With its stylish furnishings, it feels warm and cosy... the perfect place to cook, eat, entertain and relax all in one space! The apartment is equipped with free WiFi and wide-screen TV for your entertainment.
The kitchen is well equipped with a ceramic hob and electric oven, a dishwasher and all the appliances and equipment needed for a self-catering holiday. To top it off, the sunny south-west facing garden terrace with barbecue is a delightful place to enjoy al fresco dining and relaxing while soaking up the spectacular mountain views. This apartment is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a serene Alpine retreat with views to die for!

What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 12-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.

Please note that the indoor fireplace is for decoration only and cannot be used.

This is an incredible place to stay - the views are outstanding. There is a walk to town, uphill, but it is worth every step when you get to the apartment. The apartment itself has everything you need, is well furnished. Would stay again, thank you!

Fabulous views. Easy access to the train station - either updown. Spacious, clean, great cooking supplies - we cooked in quite a bit after exhausting hikes. Service from Julie was wonderful, she helped me retrieve a lost package from a hotel thatsee more
