Located in the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen with a ski slope right outside and a short ski or walk to the village cable car station, the mountains and ski areas are truly on your doorstep! It’s also just a short 300m walk to the train station or the nearest supermarket.
This top-floor luxury apartment sleeps up to 8 people, has 4 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms each with a king-sized bed and 1 bedroom with bunk bed and 2 single beds in the open mezzanine/loft… a cosy hideaway for the kids! All beds are European sizes. The apartment has 3 bathrooms; 1 family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, 1 en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, and 1 bathroom with a bath and WC on the mezzanine/loft level.
Warm your toes in front of a roaring fire with a glass of wine and some fine Swiss cheeses while enjoying the abundance of natural light through the large picture windows framing the exquisite views of the Lauterbrunnen valley, and the Jungfrau region.
The contemporary loft design with its vaulted ceilings, comfortable furnishings and quality finishes has a spacious open-concept living, dining and kitchen area. Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 12-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis or luggage transport are available for hire upon arrival at Wengen train station if required.

We had a fabulous week at Aquila, a really cozy and comfortable apartment where every need is catered and there are lots of great personal touches (including a wonderful English DVD and book library). We especially loved the times around the fire stasee more

The chalet was clean and had all the little things you need (adapters for phone chargers, towels, wash cloths, dishwashing detergent, etc). There was plenty of space for everyone. The best part was the view from the dining room table and the balconies...AMAZING! I highly recommend this chalet for your stay in Wengen. The chalet is at the top of a hill, so we made stops along the way to take in the beautiful landscape and used the walk as a way to burn off calories from the delicious food we ate in town.

Perfect place to stay. We had a great time. The views (when the cloud lifted) were amazing, Well furnished and supplied with kitchen equipment etc. We ate out at lunch and self catered each evening as we didn’t see thesee more

The office space was ideal for our A-Level studying teenager. Love the trains (in the apartment) great touch. We’d love to visit again in the summer, some time. Great viewing platform for the Monday night ski Team show and fireworks. The Wi-fi was great too - much faster than our own at home in the UK! |

With two families of four, we spend the last week of February 2015 in Aquila 7, and it was briljant. Excellent appartment with a stunning view and all the facilities we could ask for. The apparment building is right next to end of the ski trail cominsee more
With two families of four, we spend the last week of February 2015 in Aquila 7, and it was briljant. Excellent appartment with a stunning view and all the facilities we could ask for. The apparment building is right next to end of the ski trail coming into Wengen. Grab your ski's and shoes in the downstairs storage in the morning, ski down the small slope to the ski-classes in the center of the village,off the kids and take the lift to Mannlichen right next to it, have some great skiing and return skiing back into Wengen. Nothing to complain about.
