Chalet Bella Vista 3 is a 1 bedroom 1st-floor vacation apartment in this recently constructed high-end chalet which is comfortable and cosy. One of our most conveniently located apartments, it’s just a 3-minute (200m) walk to the centre of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen.
This apartment sleeps up to 4 people:
Bedroom 1 = 2 single/twin beds (can be pushed together)
Common spaces = 1 double sofa bed
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 = bathtub with shower overhead and WC
Apartment location - being just a 3-minute (200m) walk downhill from the train station, 150m to the nearest supermarket and 5 minutes (300m) to the cable car and nursery ski slopes, mountain hiking trails and ski areas are just a few steps away! There is even a lift to get you to all floors!
Like new, the apartment has a casual welcoming feel, perfect for a small family or a couple. The kitchen is well equipped with amenities such as a dishwasher, ceramic cooker, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.
Enjoy dining al fresco on the southwest-facing balcony, letting the brilliant mountain views fill your sights and the clean air to lift your spirits. Whether you are a couple or a small family, this Chalet Bella Vista apartment is a charming little gem offering great value for your stay in Wengen.

What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.
For those planning to explore the Jungfrau region, we at Wengen Apartments offer the convenience of purchasing tickets on your behalf. Please contact us before your arrival to arrange this service.
Note that there is a king-sized double sofa bed in the living room for the 3rd & 4th guests.
As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.

This rental was even more spacious than we expected. Plenty of room for a couple and 2 young adults without feeling constrained. The views from the balcony can't be beat. Highly recommend.

The unit comes with a DVD player and gaming consoles however, there were no movies or games there. Luckily we borrowed movies from the extensive collection from our friends in the rental next door. Very minor inconvenience.
